Overall it is a beautifully decorated and well-run hotel and we loved the stay, the location was stunning by the Monastery. The breakfast is particularly good with fresh local bread and fresh Portuguese pastries, for instance, there’s an option for each taste😃

Spending my xmas in the mountains was truly a memorable experience! The cozy ambiance of the hotel provided the perfect setting for a holiday retreat. What I liked most about it was the stunning view of the church and the mountains in the distance. the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, which made the stay all the more enjoyable. One more advantage was the private parking facility, which was a relief, given that it can be tough to find a spot in this area.
The rooms were not soundproof, which made it difficult to sleep at night. I could hear people sneezing and coughing from the adjacent rooms, which was not pleasant.

I recently stayed at this luxurious 4-star hotel and had a fantastic experience. The check-in process was quick and efficient, allowing me to start enjoying my stay right away. The buffet breakfast offered a wide variety of fresh and delicious options, including an amazing view of the surroundings. The room was clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated, providing an enhanced level of comfort. The en suite bathroom with a lovely shower was a great addition. One unique feature of this place is the unforgettable sound of church bells, which adds to the charm of the location. The dinner at the restaurant was delightful, with generous portions and impeccable service from the waitstaff.
In summary, I highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

Had a pretty decent Christmas experience. the complementary bottle of wine and box of chocolates were great. the location of the hotel was perfect, right at the foot of the holy trail, and the view from the room was amazing. Enjoyed hiking the trails around the property.
The TV in the room was broken and never got fixed even after complaining several times to the staff.
